The Leica R8 is a manual focus 35mm SLR film camera made by Leica in Germany that features a unique design (1996-2002).
It is a remarkable camera that's a completely new development & a timely interpretation of their classical values. Meeting the demands of discerning photographers, it combines the virtues of high-performance lenses ranging from 15mm to 800mm with a camera capable of shooting in the most inclement weather conditions.

- TTL (through the lens) flash metering capability with the optional Leica SF20 compact flash unit and other SCA-3000 compatible flash units when combined with an SCA-3501 adapter
