The Optex UV filter is used to take general shot: landscape, person, snap, etc., and to cut ultra-violet rays in longshot of sea and mountains, and to protect lens. It's the filter, with less reflex, controls unwanted ghost image in shooting against the light. It also creates sharp image with less flare.
