A simple means for eye-level viewing, the black 28mm Metal Brightline Optical Viewfinder from Voigtlander is an auxiliary shoe-mounted finder used to approximate your field of view when shooting with a 28mm focal length lens in the 35mm film/full-frame format. The 0.43x-magnification viewfinder's brightlines are meant to represent the appropriate field of view when focused at infinity, however a dotted set of lines can also be used to compensate for parallax when working from a focused distance of 3'. Additionally, it has a high eyepoint design to enable eyeglasses wearers to clearly see the corners of the frame for improved compositional accuracy.
